Our client is looking for a Demand Planner to join their team in Dubai

As part of the Middle East Supply Chain team, the successful candidate is fully accountable for developing knowledge of market characteristics by understanding economic and demographic drivers. Maintain close knowledge of marketing event execution plans through constant dialogue with multi-functional teams through S&OP to ensure forecast integrity and accuracy.

Role:

  • Work with each business unit to highlight gaps in forecast vs. actuals and collaborate with multi-functional teams to devise proactive action plans
  • Own demand planning KPIs and perform Root Cause Analysis in case of missies and develop an action plan to deliver target
  • Ensure full awareness of marketing execution plans, trade plans, sales phase in / phase out (PIPO) plans, discontinued items for owned legal entities
  • Interacts with Regional & Global Demand Planning Leaders and with Demand Planning Business expert to action forecast updates and share key business knowledge for the market
  • Track initiatives performance on monthly basis & root cause drops or increases in actuals vs. forecast & impact on Excess & Obsolete. Update innovation forecast with realistic forecast to safeguard forecast integrity
  • Look out for any major changes during the month in the forecast and reflect in the planning systems to ensure forecast integrity at all time
  • Always work on improving review decks, templates and region-specific agendas for the S&OP+ connects to accommodate S&OP+ MFT feedbacks & business evolution

Requirements:

  • Min 3 years of professional experience
  • Experience in an FMCG organization
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
  • JDA / Manugistics experience (Preferred)
  • SAP experience
  • The ability to work with diversified teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate in a non-technical manner to many levels of the business
  • Fluent in written and spoken English

Salary: up to 17k
