Our client is a top tier global exhibition and events organiser with their Middle Eastern head office situated in Dubai. As part of their ongoing expansion they are now hiring an experienced Conference Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interact with speakers and delegates
  • Coordinate on-site staff, temporary staff and other resources to ensure the smooth running of the event:-
    • room set-up
    • stage build
    • audio-visual
    • food & beverage
    • registration
    • presentations
    • signage and stage sets
    • delegate/speaker packs and gifts
    • food and beverage (F&B)

Accountabilities:

  • Smooth running of conferences as part of wider exhibitions, stand-alone conferences and confexes
  • Management of all conference costs within budget
  • Accurate and timely completion of event budgets in the month they take place
  • Ensure that all conferences have the correct licences in place by overseeing the collation of required documentation across the department and timely submission of ticketing information to the DTCM for the UAE
