Quality & Support Engineer | Dubai | Emirati Opportunity

We are partnering with a leading organisation in the insurance and financial services sector to recruit an experienced Quality & Support Engineer to join its growing Digital & Innovation team in Dubai.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Emirati professional with experience in QA Automation, Application Support, and Software Testing to work on enterprise applications that support business-critical operations across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright or similar automation frameworks.
• Execute end-to-end testing to ensure applications meet functional and quality standards.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Investigate test failures, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
• Provide technical support for internal business applications and troubleshoot user-reported incidents.
• Monitor application performance and proactively identify potential issues.
• Support software releases, deployments, and change management activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and knowledge base articles.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to continuously improve application quality and user experience.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 4–6 years’ experience in Quality Assurance, Test Automation, or Application Support.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar test automation tools.
• Experience with JavaScript, Python, or Java for test scripting.
• Good understanding of SQL, APIs, web applications, and system integrations.
• Experience working within CI/CD environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident communicator who enjoys collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.

Desirable Experience

• Performance or security testing.
• Experience within the insurance, banking, or financial services sector.
• Familiarity with application monitoring and ticketing tools.
