About the Opportunity

Kingston Stanley is partnering with a leading technology organisation to recruit an experienced SAP Basis, Security & Identity Access Governance (IAG) Consultant for a permanent opportunity in Dubai.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on SAP specialist to take ownership of SAP system administration, security, access governance and compliance, while playing a key role in implementing SAP Cloud IAG and optimising software licence utilisation.

Working closely with IT leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, you will help maintain a secure, stable and audit-ready SAP environment, combining day-to-day operational support with project delivery and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage SAP Basis administration and support across S/4HANA, ECC, Fiori, SAP BTP and Solution Manager environments.

• Design, maintain and troubleshoot SAP security roles, authorisations and user access, ensuring compliance with least-privilege principles.

• Lead SAP Cloud IAG implementation activities, including access request workflows, segregation of duties (SoD), risk analysis and access certification.

• Optimise SAP licence consumption and Full Use Equivalent (FUE) utilisation through user classification, licence measurement and account reviews.

• Manage transports, system refreshes, patching, upgrades, monitoring and performance optimisation.

• Support internal and external audits, maintain control documentation and ensure timely remediation of identified issues.

• Contribute to SAP DMS, Content Server and data archiving activities, working closely with infrastructure, application and business teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience across SAP Basis, SAP Security and IAG implementation and support.

• Practical experience implementing SAP Cloud IAG, including SoD rules, access workflows and certification campaigns.

• Strong knowledge of SAP authorisations, PFCG roles, Fiori security and SAP GRC Access Control.

• Experience with SAP licence measurement, FUE optimisation, audit support and ITIL-based service management.

• Familiarity with SAP IAS/IPS, SAP HANA administration and transport management.

• Excellent English communication skills and the flexibility to support critical incidents, upgrades and planned maintenance outside standard working hours when required.

SAP certifications in Basis, Security or GRC/IAG are advantageous.
