Data Scientist – AI | Abu Dhabi

I’m partnered with a leading leisure and entertainment destination group in Abu Dhabi on the search for a Data Scientist to join a small, specialised AI team.

The role

Reporting to the Senior Manager AI, you’ll work on AI initiatives for one destination business. You’ll analyse destination data, build and fine-tune ML models, and work closely with an ML Ops Engineer to take those models into production. You’ll also build RAG pipelines, vector databases and LLM-based solutions on Databricks, and turn the results into insights the business can act on.

What you’ll bring

• 3–5 years in Data Science, Machine Learning or Advanced Analytics
• A track record of taking models from analysis through to deployment
• Strong Python and hands-on Databricks experience, including MLflow
• Solid statistical modelling, model evaluation and fine-tuning skills
• A working understanding of RAG, LLMs and vector databases
• The ability to explain technical findings clearly to business stakeholders
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s in Data Science, AI, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field

Nice to have

• Generative AI and prompt engineering experience
• Exposure to Snowflake, AWS, Azure or GCP
• A background in hospitality, leisure, entertainment or destination environments
