We are currently working on a confidential mandate with a leading professional services firm in the UAE, looking to appoint a Manager within Audit & Assurance, with a focus on Banking clients.

This is a key role within a high-performing team, offering exposure to complex banking audits, stakeholder engagement at senior levels, and involvement in both engagement delivery and practice growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage audit engagements within the banking sector
• Review audit documentation, assess control environments, and ensure compliance with applicable standards
• Identify and resolve complex audit and accounting issues
• Manage engagement planning, budgeting, and delivery timelines
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, engaging with senior stakeholders
• Support team development through coaching, supervision, and performance management

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience within Audit / Assurance, ideally with a Big 4 or leading audit firm
• Mandatory experience in Banking Audit
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and auditing standards
• Professional qualification such as ACCA / CA / CPA (mandatory)
• Proven experience managing audit engagements and leading teams
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
