Service Director – Power / Diesel Engines

Salary: Up to AED 45,000 per month + benefits
We are working with a leading industrial group in Abu Dhabi to appoint a Service Director within their Power Division. This is a senior leadership role responsible for managing a multi-site service operation focused on diesel engines and power systems across the UAE and Bahrain.

The Role
Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead workshop and field service operations, ensuring high delivery standards, strong customer satisfaction, and commercial performance.
Key responsibilities:

• Lead service operations across multiple sites (workshop + field service)
• Own service P&L, driving revenue, cost control, and profitability
• Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality
• Ensure compliance with OEM standards and HSE requirements
• Drive continuous improvement across processes and performance
• Lead and develop service teams

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or similar

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field)
• 12–20+ years’ experience in service operations within diesel engines, power systems, or heavy equipment environments
• At least 5+ years in a senior leadership role
• Strong experience managing workshop and field service operations
• Proven commercial acumen with exposure to P&L performance
• Experience working with OEMs or major equipment distributors
• Lean / Six Sigma certification preferred
